Right here is a proclamation in front of the assembled Cyclechat masses. Fatkins here has just weighed himself and at 97.5 kg is about 20kg too many. I am stopping eating bad stuff and starting eating good stuff and in about a year a will be incredibly miserable but slightly less crap. That ride at that pace hurt far too much.

If any off you see during a ride stopped eating virtual road kill please feel free to stop and tell me off.
Not being funny Soarer, but you move at a very respectable pace for 97.5kg!

Unfortunately Richard hadn't mentioned I had to join the group first! Suppose he thought I would know what to do. First my membership expired then this, maybe I'll get the hang of all this some time!:wacko:

Bit harsh of you to expect Rick to advise you what to do Gail - it's not like he's an experienced league admin or anything.....

OK, this is the adjusted finishing results... (moving time plus start time)

No idea what happened to you, Alfie, as you finished way out of place. I think you missed your Start Time by some way.

Roleur1 also finished behind Bert on the road, probably due to missing your start time.

Congratulations to JLaw, CXRandy, Adam and Bert, you all win pretty swinging cuts in your Handicaps!

Apart from those 4 and Gail it was a pretty close field. Closer next time!

Gail, I'll adjust yours to give you a bit more of a head start for next time.
Most likely the large discrepancy is I gave you my time for the Benicassim as I thought that was the next handicap course. So I suspect you simply need to toss my "victory" as it was based on the wrong handicap.

@gbrown, when I go through set up and get to the "hit no" stage I don't have time elapsed in the background all I have is the outline of the course, any ideas?
with that said I probably jumped the start as I had to wait until my clock said 20.04 so don't really need handicapping ^_^

Geoff - I opened the ride from live with about 20 seconds to go and pressed 'no' bang on 9minutes elapsed. It took about 3 seconds to load and I started pedaling during that time...was sprinting hard in 53 x 11 when I appeared on the screen at 500w..... ride went ok under constant pressure from Bridgy (but not caught ...jeez you must have been trying though I know I was)......completed the ride in +3.05 on the classification....but then the dreaded pop up 'Bsim has stopped working' and crashed after about 1.5 minutes of the warm down..boom the rides gone again.

Just checked my setting and the trees and something else was set to high quality so I presume my laptop cant cope with that..turned them all down to dumb now.
well done guys. Thanks again geoff.

Well I can confirm I am no racer after that punishment! Wooden spoon

Thanks for organising this again @Geoff. :notworthy:

Geoff, I sat at the start time till 6 minutes 30 seconds had elapsed according to the timer on the top left of the screen, I assume that is the one I am supposed to use?

Better to follow the instructions here Chain Gang Handicap Race and enter the session when the underway time hits your Start Time.

That way your elapsed time is correct (it doesn't include sitting on the start line for 6.5 minutes) and also, you can enter pedaling like a loony (Adam)!

There is a video of the process here ... https://www.dropbox.com/s/gjmbx89e1lktk5h/Bkool Indoor 03_02_16 16_30_24.mp4?dl=0

Does that mean all those with high numbers are going to be easier to catch next time:whistle:

Sounds like you joined the session via the details button, you should click on the box above the session name, as in this video https://www.dropbox.com/s/gjmbx89e1lktk5h/Bkool Indoor 03_02_16 16_30_24.mp4?dl=0

That way, you get to see the underway timer while you are waiting.

Cheers AAAC. i had it set to manual because I was a bit paranoid about the connection. I used an extension cable for the ant+ tonight. That along with the Ethernet cable seems to have improved things 100%. Thanks again for your help and patience. Really appreciate it.

Once you are in a session if you click the Settings Icon in the top right of the screen and then scroll down there is an option called 'Performance' something.
If you select this is shows you stats on your HR reception, Trainer, Ping rate and I think FPS whatever that is.
Anyway it shows how well your Trainer is connected to the PC.
