Here's a thing - I watched jamie go down that last steep hill on the Elite Realtour and he was hitting high 60's. No blue numbers but he was hitting around 180- 200 watts and the speed was there. Must ask him to ease off on a hill and see if it holds the high figures.

EDIT:: Geoff beat me to it - see above screenshot for proof!! ^_^
I'm not sure you get to see blue numbers when spectating?

Good point! :okay: Then it certainly looks like the Realtour trainer is adjusted for downhills. I always thought it was pretty much the match of a Bkool trainer except for the limit of 6% on the climbs.

No blue numbers spectating, as far as I could see.

Didn't the Elite trainers always benefit from Virtual Speed like the Bkools?

Looks like the Tacx and the KICKR's are still out in the cold.

Thanks for that Geoff!

So much for Bill being sick! :cycle: Great race Bill and Bridgy - wasn't sure what tactic to use as I knew I'd be in trouble when i reached that climb! And I was right!

Rick, that was some effort you were putting in up that hill. You were pulling away with the slope at 10% and I was wondering if you were coaxing me into over exerting myself. You wouldn't do a thing like that would you? Not quite sure how I pulled away at the top. Perhaps a small wormhole or a slingshot that you missed out on.

I think the drafting is definitely the way to go, Bill may have got away from you in the end, but working together as well as you did most have saved a lot of energy.

I've got over an hours video of the race, not sure what to do with it!
