CG this month is very close. Between @BILL S in 3rd and @rob01792 in 10th there is a 1 minute gap! Some new (old) faces cropping up too. Along with @Insomina , @bazzer99 has joined in the fun this month. Not seen you for ages :okay: :welcome: back

I really like the way this league has brought the results much closer. I guess the main reason we're so close is that there's been some uphill in the first stage so the heavier guys didn't run away with it completely as they did in stage 2. Next one will be interesting: Descend Tourmalet which starts with downhill but gradient levels out significantly in the second half so the lighter guys might have a chance to catch up. This'll make it pretty exciting for the live ride tomorrow so worth joining in if possible.

Thanks for the return welcome. I plan to ride tomorrow. I was going to have a go last night but I see that Zwift is the new kid on the block.

Do I need to move across?
Is there a slow group?

You're welcome to try both. Just unplug the Bkool before trying to log into Zwift. This makes it work reasonably well. Zwift have a trial period so no commitment if you don't get on with it. They have A to D categories for racing. Races are usually an hour in length over flat to hilly courses. Popular ones are the Kiss races, however there are races every hour of the day. There can be 50 or more riders in each category. These are live races with no rerun feature. Ask on the splitters thread anything you're unsure with. Carl has got the bug and is going for the Tron bike- 50,000 metres of climbing to get it:wacko:

I'm a slow one and I ride in both but don't do any races in Zwift. I still love the Bkool videos and the Saturday races. The monthly cost for both isn't too much compared to the money I waste on other stuff

. See you on the virtual road

I was lucky and got an offer on BKool subscription for 3.99 a month so I'm quite happy with that  It's only a pint of decent beer, which I'm off as I'm trying to kick the weight loss off again ... and failing today as I had an unlimited Toby breakfast, It's not fair with them round the corner, I can smell the bacon cooking firrst thing as I lie in bed contemplating starting the day

Also posted on the 'dark side' thread...

I've been slack on the admin for the Strava Cyclechat turbo club, so there are a few member requests.

Anyone on here willing to join the dots on up on these requests?

@TurboTommy @bobinski what's ur opinion on the bolt now you've had time with it as I had 1 delivered yesterday and trying to make my mind up. at the moment I use a mio 505 which I find good but the screen mist up in the wet
The bolt is a great bit of kit, the routing with rwgps is good, although most of my routes are planned with Strava so no turn by turn directions, but it is still easy to follow a route.
