LIVING THE DREAM
@AAAC 76C šŸ˜
No mate - itā€™s yours
Thought I could claw a bit back on climb but to be honest, the downhill one was lucky I stuck to a bot else I would have lost a load more time there so a fair result - in fact more than fair for me - I know lightweights have an advantage going uphill and I canā€™t keep up with Keith or Andy let alone you so all in all I am walking around like billy big balls bassett at the moment - canā€™t see it happening next month šŸ˜
Saturday showed that had I not been lucky enough to latch onto the gravity boys for 3/4s of the ride I would have only been a few seconds ahead of you as I finished with @Rod McG.

Just installed a data projector and @Randyberlin asked that I post an image of the setup. I am lucky we have a large spare room but given a blank white wall using it as a 4 m screen works well. I enjoy seeing nice scenery - and I have plenty of time to enjoy it!

Beautiful.
edit: The speakers are positioned to give the maximum effect for the Zeppelin "Whole Lotta Love" stereo side to side solo.

A shed! Oh, what I would give to have a shed. I'm in a shoebox in a hole in the road.
Seriously my first rainy wet season in my shed and the cement slab Is sweating after a ride even with the window open an the fan on. Should I paint the floor? Google doesn't give much advice other than more heat. I keep it on minimum.
A dehumidifier is best, if you can justify it - dry but cool.

has the concrete got any dpm below it ? if it has then dehumidifier would be fine - even if it hasnt , dehumidifier will definitely help
if it hasnt i would seriously think about screwing some roof battens to the floor putting dpc underneath them , then boarding the floor
i have a wooden floor with a big rubber mat on to stop sweat - ive got a mini dehumidifier under the bench with my best bike

The biggest challenge! One of the toughest and worldwide known test for which many specialists is the hardest pass in Europe. Departure at 10 am from El Burrero beach (municipality of Ingenio) and with a climb of only 30 kilometers with ramps of 21% to reach the top of the island and gaining an elevation of more than 1.900 meters. Are you ready?

I rode that route from Ingenio in January. Tough climb. On the descent from Pico, the temperature dropped to about 6Ā°C - I couldnā€™t get down fast enough to warm up. Ran into Chris Froome and some Ineos teammates on a training ride. Happy days.

2 hours plus constant uphill cycling at 7% average. Congratulations. I think I'll skip it!

Thanks. The raised floor should be a good fix. I hadn't thought of that. The shed is 8x16 but I only get 8x8 so half the slab isn't heated.
