I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but someone told me this morning that if you hold the corner of a new style five pound note onto a vinyl record you can hear it play. I've just tried it and it really does work, clear as a bell too.

Still heavily into vinyl. Have about 2000 albums (No I've never counted them).

Got an LP12 TT but it's like Triggers broom, I think the only original part left is the platter, as it's had multiple motor and controller upgrades, a new chassis, two plinth, a new lid and sports an Origin Live arm.

I dread to think what it would cost to replace

Without looking it up I recall seeing that a current all-singing all-dancing LP12 will set you back about £23000 to £24000.

I bought a secondhand Small Faces album recently. It sounded really good until it got to the last track and went into an infinite groove. Then I remembered why CDs became so popular.
