Just got woken up by two paramedics.........right number wrong block of flats
Cooooeeee. 12 deg and sunny. I do hope today isn't as warm as it has been.
Bin day for us....maybe, unless they forget us again.
Stay safe peeps![]()
Our son and his wife got back from Turkey last night so they came round to get their two dogs we were looking after whilst they were away. They are Molly's brothers by the way. Anyway, we think Molly is missing them now as she looks sad so my wife suggested we get another dog to keep her company. Don't know what to do now.

Bonjour.
Many years ago, I took my wife to see the chateau in Versailles and she was in charge of navigating our way back to Orleans, That was long before satnav technology. She kept telling me to follow the N34 but after going round the same area a couple of times, I stopped the car and asked her to show me where this N34 was on the map. She duly pointed to a point on it that did say 34 but it was the distance between two towns.![]()

We're they nice young lady paramedics? I'd have pretended a snake had bit me on the winky and demand immediate treatment.

a) never trusted the instructions, and would argue with the Sat-Nav
Mrs @BoldonLad used to navigate us around mainland Europe (Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, etc), as you say, before satnav technology.
She really was very good at working out a route, and navigating, even in situations when I missed a turn (usually because I was going to fast, never because the instruction was late).
The only times we ever "got lost" were when:
a) she fell asleep
b) she decided to put cream on her legs, and was distracted by this important task.
When Sat-nav did come along, Mrs @BoldonLad:
a) never trusted the instructions, and would argue with the Sat-Nav
b) would never have a male voice, she didn't like being given instructions by a man
Sadly, early stages of Dementia mean that map reading days are over for her now, but, lots of good laughs to look back on![]()

What age is Molly? If still relatively young it might work well, but if she is too old to be bothered by a new puppy, maybe not?
