The near neighbours Yeti, there was an empty space

It’s no so much smaller
I should have reversed closer though

The Yeti is ‘her’ car
He had an Audi All-Road, in a very nice chestnut brown
He’s sold it now, & has a (‘series 1’) Fabia vRS
It smokes a bit, but still looks good!
(not sure about blacked alloys though?)

I've organised/ordered new tyres for the Kodiaq
My intentions were to replace all 4 with something a bit more 'aggresive', such as General Grabber AT3 (maybe next time?)
Michelin Latitude 3* are on all 4 wheels (& a narrower spare is the same model too)

That said, they've coped quite well, on a few quite muddy caravan sites, dragging it off, & also in a few situations (muddy fields/etc...)

However, the rears have lasted quite well (4mm +), but the front pair are down to just over 2mm, so replacement time!
I've ordered same again, & at a reasonable price; £250** balanced/new valves!

The front pair were already on it, when I bought it, & a receipt showed they'd only covered about 1,200 miles
I replaced the rears, not long after buying it, as they were well worn
(it's covered about 31,300miles, since buying it in March 2021)

* they're 'summer tyres', so not an 'all weather' conpound
** I had a look at the website of the chosen fitter (Formula 1 Autocentres), as I'd intended using Black Circles to order from, at £285.98
BUT when checking 'F 1AC' online ordering out of curiosity, the £250 was quoted!!!

When I had my van I had Yokohama geolanders quieter and cheaper than at3 irrc.

Worth a look?

I arrived at 09:15, they took it in at 09:30, & was on my way by 10:00

Their ‘health check’ stated
F = 3mm
R = 6mm

So, maybe plans to replace the rear 2 will get pushed back a bit further?

I do need a new ‘wheel key’, as before starting, the chap came to me, showing me that it was a bit chewed on some ‘splines’
That said he did manage to change both

As an aside to the above 'new tyres' tale
Our daughter told ,me that they'd looked at new tyres, as a 'just in case' of unrepairable puncture/pothole damage
She told me, 'like for like' (so same brand?)......... circa £300........... each :cry:
I can't verify that, as I don't know what size they are, or the registration
They'd have been cheaper for its predecessor!! (235/85 x 16)
That went, & has been replaced by a '71'(?) plate BuMW X5, a rather thirsty 6-cylinder (no idea if a 'V', or their usual 'straight') twin-turbo petrol :wacko:

On the 'Kodiaq Owners Forum' website, I asked if anyone could create photograph, of a Kodiaq, with a more upright rear-end
As, personally, I think the designers tried to follow the RR Ewok/etc..... rather than make their own path (as they did with the Yeti)I

I like the look, with a far more sensible loadspace
Granted, it's one of those (rather annoying) AI images
