I actually made a list the other day! I’m not in love with this country and was feeling grumpy about living here (my parents are here and I will always love living near them after so long living on the other side of the world). So I made a list of specific British things that I LOVE and it helps me when I’m feeling grumpy!

Thatched cottages
  1. Telephone boxes
  2. Post boxes
  3. Good bread
  4. Good cheese
  5. Good tea
  6. Cobbles
  7. Cow parsley season
  8. Bluebell season
  9. Rapeseed season
  10. The queen
  11. Viaducts
  12. Cornwall
  13. Corfe Castle
  14. Old village churches
  15. Nice country pubs
  16. Queueing
  17. The NHS
  18. Steam trains
  19. Robins
  20. Hedgehogs
  21. Scones, jam and cream
  22. Castles and old stately homes
