What did you use your car for today?

To drive 160 miles to London, since we arrived and during out stsy we will use the fantastic bus service.

I’ll drive to work today, 30 mile round trip, then my wife will pick me up later from a night out - can’t get a bus back as last bus too late.

Tesco’s and back to buy 2 jacket spuds

Started it, for the first time since Sunday, as it was a '50-50' chance that daughter might want picking up at 20:30, in Wakefield
Drove to work, on a 12:00 - 20:00
Surprisingly found a space in the staff car-park (I had expected to have to pay the £6 -'odd', for a space in the visitors car-park)


Went to get something from it, at 17:45, just a layer of condensation on it
Come 20:10, it was white-over, & even had a sheen of frost on the inside of the glass!!


Picked her up, drove past Sainsburys en-route home, to see Diesel at £1.25/litre, but too late to turn
(I'm sure I could have squeezed about 10 litres in?)

Just driven 175 miles back from Redditch to North Devon.
It's good to be back home.

Work,shopping,hospital appointment..more shopping, now off to a pub for food and a few beers.
Half day off so after all that i deserve it.

I drove to the garage to buy £56 quids worth of petrol

40 mile round trip to the knee specialist in Chelmsford.
I've been off the bike for nearly a fortnight and it's extremely frustrating... though I'm now ok for steady-state riding.

Bike.to and from.work. Car to pick up kids. Parking was ok. Coffee stop, parking right outside. Really cold out there.

To a breakfast meeting, thence to work where I delivered a large home-made treacle tart, three shirts for next week's cycle commuting, and suchlike. I will take a load of delivered Christmas presents home shortly.
