The Snowman.
Excellent if a little brooding take of murder in Norway with a top class cast.
8/10.

I thought it was OK, but very underpaced and fell well short of the book which was an excellent read.

Pitch Perfect 3 - the third best film of the Pitch Perfect trilogy by a good margin and another of those "why on earth did they bother" films. Rebel Wilson tries her best but even she can't save this turkey. 3/10

The World's Fastest Indian. Anthony Hopkins was brilliant.

Last Man Standing

A Fistful of Dollars set in a Texas border town in what appears to be the prohibition era or slightly earlier.

Bruce 'Clint Eastwood' Willis plays off rival Irish and Italian families each other in a fairly decent film, with Christopher Walken as a psycho baddie.

6/10.

The Equalizer 2

Pretty good. Violent. Bad guys getting their deserved comeuppance. Maybe a lack of peril for the hero. Decent weapon drills. Denzel is good as usual.

Terminator 3.

Not the best, but still a chunk better than Terminator Salvation Army., and Kristanna Loken looks very pleasant indeed. Formulaic rubbish, but having Arnie destroying stuff is like an old and comfy pair of movie slipper.

5/10.

Campbell's Kingdom
Nice old adventure type stuff. Yes you can tell some of it's a model at Pinewood, and that live bit needed a studio closeup but we're back in the days of decent story and imagination. And of course obligatory romantic side story.
But a good bit of alternative work for the cast of the Doctor films.
Like old bikes, it's nice to have some retro in your life. 7.5/10.
