Tonight i'm about to watch Logan, on now CH4. I can take or leave X Men films, but i've not seen this one and it gets reasonably good reviews, so i'll give it a go.

How to Talk to Girls at Parties... not sure what i was expecting other than a romance set in punk era Britain... turned out to be bit weird, in fact, rather weird, or maybe, very weird... too weird to rate, but i enjoyed it, in a weird sort of way

Went to see Black Christmas last night.

Not sure how to rate it to be honest. It certainly isn't a remake and I think it's quite confused between playing it straight or for laughs. There are some genuinely tense moments, but those are rare in what I reckon is a film that has been hacked away at by the studio. Be interesting to see if a directors cut is released, which I'd hope would have a more consistent tone and message.

I watched Lizzie, which was about Lizzie Borden, who was accused of murdering her parents in the USA in the late 19th century. It was ok, but rather serious.

John Wayne was good but the rest of the cast were a bit shouty.
Rogue One was the Star Wars film that was almost good.

Part way through '6 Underground'..visitors arrived, watching suspended till tomorrow.
Marvelous, I always enjoy Ryan Reynolds.
Spoof / black comedy of a ghost team taking out the worlds worst characters, something often governents wont do to protect vested interests, extraordinarily highly charged beginning with a typical destructive car chase scene, fast paced comical at times, some smut, plenty o great one liners.. excellent stuff.
Tried watching this afternoon. Couldn't understand anything about what was happening; jerky filming, gratuitous blood, incomprehensible dialog - gave up after 15 minutes. 1/10
