Few bits for the CX bike. Longer front cable hanger and smaller 55mm brake pads to hopefully reduce brake judder on my canti's. Also picked up some used Mavic Cosmic Elite wheels. Look in great condition (braking surface) but the rear hub was advertised as seized. £56 including delivery. New SKF bearings on the way for both hubs and freehub, plus some Vittoria Corsa N-EXT 26c clinchers for a bargain from Banana Industries.

A wet Sunday just after payday:

Tour / High waist shorts. Because I love BIB shorts, but have a need for shorts / jersey for some rides….

Spare bottle. Just bought / started using one and it’s good 👍

Use these on a few of my bikes. Always good to have a few pairs in stock:

Another Halfords bike stand. One of the spring loaded type ones which you just push the bike onto.

Have already got one of those and a few of the metal Pro prong type ones.

My latest bike doesn't work well with the prong style ones so needed another of these to keep things tidy.

For me, on the bike, rather than for the bike itself...

Since the weather is trying to pretend that it is the second week of February rather than the second week of May, I bought a pair of these stretchy lightweight RockBros cycling trousers. I tried them out this evening when it was 3 degrees C here (!!!) with a significant wind-chill worsening that.

I am happy with my purchase. Good for chilly to warmish conditions. Not warm enough for very cold conditions without an extra layer underneath, and too much for very warm conditions, but probably good for UK riding on at least 2/3 of the days in a typical year.

I am 1.86 m (6' 1") tall and currently weigh around 82 kg (12 st 13 lbs). I find XL a good fit for me.

Nice are they padded or unpadded? Would be good for walking too if unpadded??
