‘Hoarding’ a tiny bit more Titanium.

**Polished finish: Crank arm tension bolt (Non drive side) - for the Trek Hybrid. Will look a treat with the other Polished parts……

Noted the brake pad pot was running low, so ordered a few sets from Halfords where the Genuine Shimano were on sale cheaper than the decent off brands. Stacked up CUK discount, top cashback and topgiftcard discounts and they came out great value.

Then set about sorting out my summer wheels... When I say summer I mean marginally less heavy than the "winter" wheels I keep my studded tyres on. The winter wheels have been on the bike since err winter when I broke a few spokes.

I replaced the spoke and set about cleaning and replacing the bearings and cones when I noticed the cones were grim. SJS advised they couldn't supply a full axle set (discontinued) so have ordered a single cone, the other side is less bad.

I have just taken delivery of my new 105 cassette and KMC chain and chain checker. Anyway, with the cassette was a big folded sheet of paper. Goody goody I thought, instructions, he he ! No, it was a sheet of paper in 101 different languages telling me how Shimano are going green and reducing waste. If anybody wanted to know how to fit, go on line.
The Birzman chain checker by comparison was on a single card with a diagram of how to use. So why do Shimano, who are going green still send out the paper ? Personally, I`d thought that if anyone was ordering up a cassette they`d know what they were doing anyway ? I hav`nt looked at the chain instructions yet. Good to have a moan !

@Animo - I looked at the jersey offer from Galibier and wondered, but I don't need a new jersey.

The other think I don't need is another bike ... but ... erm ... I may have failed on that front
