If you're not drinking on a 40 minute "intense" ride it ain't intense. Try harder
That's what I was thinking. If you are really giving it beans the last thing you want to do is stop and break the rythm.Odd you say that I never carried a bottle on a 25tt, would not have been able to drink it at that intensity, a 50tt yes I would be carting a bottle. I never carry good on a ride now as they never exceed a few hours, I carry one bottle though with squash in.
But there IS a Twister..... And a Bounty or when I find a beach; Aero and Boost for when I want to go faster! You'll improve your cornering if you add in a Curly Wurly.
Just take a Picnic then that’s all you need! But there IS a Twister..... And a Bounty or when I find a beach; Aero and Boost for when I want to go faster!
Never take a Double Decker, they weigh a ton. Go for Kit Kats instead.
@I like Skol regularly smashes me on rides, I'm pulling his legOdd you say that I never carried a bottle on a 25tt, would not have been able to drink it at that intensity, a 50tt yes I would be carting a bottle. I had a bar in my pocket yesterday, 35 deg. c.(according to the cycle comp, so probably 30), ate some of it after a couple hours and the rest has been rubbed into the handlebar tape for another day.On a cold day double deckers go rock hard as well.
For an hour? Most of my rides are up to an hour long and I tend to take one gel and a full 700ml bottle with water in and a bit of juice.
