What toppings do you (genuinely) enjoy on pancakes?

My Grand daughter is coming to stay and threatened (sorry............promised) to make us pancakes.
Years since I've eaten them and always with the traditional lemon & sugar topping.
I realise there will be some weird and wonderful (horrible) suggestions........but go for it

Anything that can be eaten without pancakes assuming you mean the soggy anaemia British types (blech)

American ones are a different matter, lots of salted butter and maple syrup (and bacon and a fried egg with Ketchup if breakfast)

They also. probably go pretty well with a salted caramel or white choc ice cream too (try Waitrose)

As a kid, there were only two options. Lemon juice (fresh of course) and sugar, or golden syrup. My son likes Nutella on his, or sometimes Jam.

When in America, I took a fancy to the American way (when in Rome): Pancakes, Bacon, maple syrup.
