Me? Unless it was a bottle of Home Made, I really can't remember

This week. Approximately half the wine I get still has cork, but I get mine from Naked Wines so maybe thats because they use smaller producers

Last weekend.

Much prefer screw tops.

For short lived wines there is no doubt they give a more consistant product. The jury is still out on wines to be laid down because there is not the long term data. My response is that if you buy a wine to store for 25 years (and I'm looking at my wine ponce brother here) you deserve everything you get.

2 days ago. There's still loads about.
Apparently the Iberian lynx depends on them - their habitat is the cork oak woodlands from which they are harvested. The cork, i.e. the bark, is removed and regrows.

We go through a few bottles a week here and it's seldom we come across a screw top.

I've got a bottle in the cupboard which I won in a raffle a few weeks ago. It has a cork by the looks of it but I don't really like wine so will keep for a present to give to someone.
