Yeah, I Did go back to check out the other Cannondale's but cyclocross is not my thing, although I will be there again tomorrow watching the young guns go at it in a muddy field.

No intention of running through any muddy fields, but I bought an inexpensive CX in August. Hadn't used dropbars in years, fancied a change but didn't want to spend a lot in case I didn't like it.
I was hooked by the time I'd cycled home along the canal with it.

Yeah, I certainly know what you mean and I have considered it as I do find myself on the odd canal or other but I have a bike that can deal with the milder off road stuff.

The staff generally seemed uninterested and just directed me to the website when I wanted to know about various options etc. Their loss.
