Wow. Seen some great snooker the last couple of weeks, Si and Brecel incredible, shots you don't often see at this tournament. Selby a worthy runner-up though.

Great final and deserved winner. Brecel is an attacking snooker player and the game will benefit from it. Also, being Belgian, more Continental players might come forward now and expand the game. Well done Luca.

Ah, that was fabby to watch. Think that's the best WC tournament we've seen in a long, long while. So many good things to take away from this one. Brecel, Si, two 147s including one in the final. Not to forget Neil Robertson's two 146 breaks.
Was a mistake to stay up to the finish of the Selby - Allen SF, as I had to get up at 6am to drive to Luton as I was judging at a cat show. Whoops...
