Even if it was the worst day of their lives, so what? Chances are they were caught up in the moment, their holiday was going tits up and was a slight exaggeration. Either way, why should they give a sh*t how hard some people's lives are. Basically you're saying nobody has a right to moan about anything because someone out there has it harder? Most likely however you're just very bitter.

A holiday is going tits up if they had been there for a few days, not a few hours. They had a right to moan but the worse day of their lives? Anyone who comes out with that sort of rubbish is pathetic, wherever other people have had it harder or not. Sounds to me like someone has hit a nerve? Have you been accused of over reaction? I've no had washing facilities in my flat for 2 weeks, and there's a bath in my bedroom ... just saying, like
