Never having previously experienced @crinkly lion's hospitality, I have to say she was amazing. House and outside stuffed with bikes, with cyclists taking over what space was left. Yet still managing to provide sustenance to those present and then leading the assembled troupe to the Minster, when yet more food was produced. Remarkable :notworthy:

Great ride. About 20 minutes of light rain that didn't necessitate donning rainwear.
Warm enough to warrant only the obligatory FNRttC shirt plus a yellow fleecy thing and windproof gilet. Shorts, no long gloves needed. So all good.
Stonking grub at halfway and @Flying Dodo used his good skills to ensure we can go back next year. Which I hope we will as this is one of the best rides we do. Hardly saw a car for hours. And 'Spoons does a decent breakfast for a few quid. Its coffee is merely average though.
The whole thing went like clockwork, a sign of good planning. One visitation and a minor problem with a gear.
And special thanks deserved by @User10119 for making riders feel so welcome. Great CAIK. Nom.
