Cheers Brendan. That FB page looks interesting too. It'll be great to see how many teams sign up. I see someone has suggested that the group's will be streamlined after a couple of races, not sure if that's based on fact or not.

Yep, 50km of big foot hills is 4 climbs including the volcano Kom.

There is going to be huge time gaps. The titans grove intermediate will likely be a target for a few people, as the top 30 is going to be climbers surely.

Nothing too steep or too long though. A recce may be in order. I wonder if they will arrange for the bots to ride the course in the days beforehand.

Wow the routes look testing. We could arrange a meet up of Big Foot hills next week if anyone fancies it? Weds 7pm?

Good point @steverob . Only 3 of us are in Cat C - you, @Ketty and @Joffey . But you need a minimum of 4 riders in each team for the TTT stages so unless you get at least one more Cat C or D to join the 3 of you we will have to stick with the original plan of two B Cat teams really

The individual events, although not mountainous, look relatively lumpy.

The early primes are going to be super-competitive for us bigger riders, particularly as only the top 3 get points!

OK, I will register and captain team 1, aka “Cyclechat 23”. We need someone to create an account on WTRL to captain and register team 2. “Cyclechat 68“ was suggested as a name 😷

I think we will need to move our posting of race login details to a private conversation rather than on this public thread. This can be done in the forum toolbar above (see pci below). Closer to the time we can set this up. We can keep all of the pre and post race chatter to here.
