We've had 8 days sunshine in the past 3 months in the North West.
The rest of the time its been very wet and windy and the outlook for the weekend is the same .. Its just miserable..Please stop raining..:-(

Afraid I'm a fair weather cycler but I've been able to cycle to work for the last 8 consecutive days and done three leisurely twenty milers with my wife in the last 4 weekends (just a little shower on Monday). Today I went to work in my car but could have made it there and back before the rain . Just keep telling myself all day that I needed the rest.

I agree though, its miserable today and not much sun over the last two days either. And to make it worse we've still got our central heating on! Still, live in hope.

Yes I'm getting fed up of this drought now !

The weather has been pretty gash here in south London so far and I'm getting fed up of wearing my winter boots that I bought last August and have barely taken off since, apart from the odd respite where I swap them for Birkies or Converse.

I preferred the dry drought to this wet one.

Did go to the shops by bike half an hour ago, without getting wet. about half a mile eachway. Going the speed was over 30 mph. Coming back about 4. The wind hasn't stopped.

I blame it all on these private enterprise rockets they've been launching in America.

Ive not rode my bike since monday im looking at the forcast and its not great going forward so sod it im off out on a wet ride

Truly atrocious weather - it's June and my legs have hardly seen the sun at all. If I go out for a ride today it will be through pure cussedness - but as they're forecasting 70mph winds I fear I'll spend the day looking out of the window and feeling sorry for myself.

Same here............a splendid 10 day warm spell, then back to cool, windy, wet weather. I had some great rides though, and even had to wear my shorts a few times!
