I`ve ordered a set of the Halfords road pedals ,picking them up on Friday, at £5 they are worth a try.

Just bought a pair of northwave winter boots to hide in the wardrobe until needed. need to make the swap over from spd at some point and its gonna be wet Monday so these will do a job for a weekend at least.

well picked up my loot today from Halfords, was feeling embarrassed a bit on the price of the mudguards lol. Pedals however were never worth the RRP of £29.99 and 5 squids is probably ok for the cleats, the pedals look rough and ready to be honest so doubt I will pick up the second pair now.

"Crikey, these are cheap!" exclaimed the Hafords shop keep. Then after studying the paperwork went on to say "Ha, ha, someone's put the decimal point in the wrong place and will be getting shot for this!". Big smile on my face as I leave with two sets of Cruds
