A major bit of pricing error has some Sigma & Knog cycle computers available for between £1 and £5.

The usual caveats about Halfords availability and them honouring the pricing apply.

Thank you Jenkins, I've placed an order for delivery, will let you know what happens.

Cheers - Click + Collected a Knog Nerd 12 function wireless computer for Mrs ND's bike, which should be at my local store on Tuesday (hopefully).
Can't argue with £5 against an RRP of £63.99...;) (less my BC discount too!)

Will let you know how we get on.

Went for a Knog but not available now but a great heads up none the less:okay:
Looked at a Sigma , which are still available, but just felt like it would have been second best after missing out on a Knog

Odd post maybe but a very special thanks to the person who on here a fair while ago posted about the altura varium jacket from a scottish shop. Only just started wearing it (complicated reasons) and it's truly wondrous. Even in pretty cold weather i can get by with just an aldi merino base layer under it. Rode to brighton in the middle of the night a few days ago - chucked it down at the end and it held up wonderfully. Thanks again.
I think that was @mr messy.
Mine is falling apart for the wear, was never waterproof though!

Strange about your proofing. As I said mine went through a downpour of at least an hour on the way to Brighton and then stood up to storm wotsit last week. Maybe you got a dud.

Another oddity on Halfords website

http://www.halfords.com/cycling/cyc...shoes/lake-mx160-mtb-mens-cycling-shoes-black

Lake MX160 MTB shoes, size 50 only as far as I can tell (so for the generously footed amongst us) at £3 a pair, reduced from £79.99!
Given how cycling shoes normally come up small, I've risked ordering a pair.

I'm a 12 in normal shoes & have size 12(47) lake winter boots. They are a little snug, but not too small. Sizing is surprisingly accurate for cycling shoes ^_^
