Need some socks and a new 'bell' after my other one got destroyed in a 'lie down' moment oh Hully Gully at Gisburn a few weeks ago - not a fan of bells, but they are handy on shared use paths. I've also lost a rear light 'somewhere' - in the house actually, but PX have the 'dog star' lights at £6 which are the same as the Aldi Cob lights, and are really good.

I got a Granite Cricket Bell with Cowbell Mode for Christmas. Not super loud, but quite pleasant in cowbell mode on the shared paths, jingling along!!

A timely post - I have just been in the freezing workshop attaching a previously discarded bell to a road bike for the first time in 'whenever'. A new-ish area that has a number of shared use paths has me thinking I would benefit from saving my lungs from having to speak much to peds. The usual 'morning - just coming past on a bike' in a semi cheery tone does seem to be lost on half of my new local neighbours. The thing I salvaged was only fit for super skinny bars to had to drill holes in the fixtures and attach with a cable tie... seems a shame to have to foul the cockpit area of a shiny-ish and new-ish bike with such horrors but am going to give it a try.

Edit: for extra relevance - I am currently wearing PX socks the blue and white 'thicky' X365 ones. They are nice and comfy but I tend to find they are a bit too thick for summer rides or anything outside of winter really but then I do suffer from hot spots in anything more than chilly weather and thinner socks are my preference.

It seems they relate on direct sales from Australia. They invented a renewed version of the Fly 6 last year (which I had preordered and have in use for a couple of months now). Mixed emotions with it. It basically does it's job, usability leaves something to be desired and picture quality is ok but not excellent whereas the price seems pretty excessive for the quality of the item. Cycliq also seem not to be a very customer friendly company, so some serious competition would be appreciated.

Early impressions... it's a bit rougher round the edges than the Fly6 ie. buttons are clunkier, the strap doesn't feel as good, mounting is a little more faff, the recording light isn't as visible but on the plus side, it doesn't weigh any more than the fly and the quality of the footage seems to be just as good. How long it'll last though, that's anyone's guess.
