on a side note my company have announced big lay off of agency workers for exactly the same issue of overstocking by the head office not predicting forecast sales and a big slowdown meaning even though were a re slow already we are going slower soon , luckily for me im a full employee but i feel for those who are not .

Kind of get the feeling that during the good times, the "can do" people were talking about continued growth and what investment was needed to extrapolate the growth figures for the next 5 years. And the company followed their ideas.

Meanwhile, the negative doom-mongers were ignored, sidelined, or persuaded to leave.

That's part of the objective of the current let's rearrange everything for the sake of it at work, to get rid of agency workers. Be interesting to see how many apply for a permanent post.

They will not be accepting applications, we just had a round of early retirement but they didn't get enough taker's.originally they said they were keeping all the agency

The cheapest I've found a single Pirelli P Zero car tyre (fitted) in my area is £186.99...

£50 a "premium" tyre is pretty good value I'd say.
