Tattoo'd hands always look good with a suit and they always go down well at job interviews don't you think?

I'm not sure if the word "hate" was aimed at me, or anyone else who has expressed an opinion on this thread, but......
I may have called her a hatchet faced, pouty, spoilt brat who cannot sing. That does not mean I hate her. It seems to be a bit of an assumption throughout this forum that if you disagree with a particular POV then you are an extremist in the opposite direction, and in this case a "hater".
Just to clarify, I don't hate either of the Beckhams; my feelings for them are neutral. I don't care much for them. I just don't understand the fawning and admiration for a pair of people who just got lucky in their respective careers on minimal talent (in her case particularly). That says more about their fans and modern British culture than it does about them. HTH..

Just a contrast to the options offered making the point that there was a "third way"

It is possible to have a valid opinion between devoted follower and hater

Not meant at anyone in particular

Funnily enough my left hand has a tattoo on it. Rather than being detrimental in interviews I've always found it the opposite. It always sparks a less formal conversation with the interviewer that I think allows them to see me as a normal person, if only for a couple of minutes. I've never not got a job since I've had it done.

The only issue is that I always look like I'm going to court when I'm wearing a suit. I'm not sure if it's because of the tattoo or because my suits cost £8 from George at Asda.

All of my jobs have involved wearing a suit and meeting various people outside of the office for appointments etc and I've only had one negative reaction and that was from a bloke who'd spent years having every tattoo he'd ever had removed.

But back onto the subject. David Beckham and his wife both exhibit fraggle behaviour and I don't really see what positive impact they have on the world.

I'm betting Beckham looks better in a suit than you - as he looks better than almost anyone in a suit; and he's never going to a job interview. So what's the problem?
Yes, with a combined fortune estimated at £500m (and rising by about 10% a year), he doesn't really need to worry about getting a job from which having some tattoos might preclude him
