People who refer to train stations

It does sound odd, doesn't it, but it actually makes sense when you think about it - it is a station for trains to stop at. We don't call bus stations road stations, do we!

Why would it bother you?? I say the railway station or just the station, but train station doesn't bother me, why should it? What does it matter??

Just as long you don't call it the Railroad Station/depot, then you should be fine!

I've heard some interesting suggestions for Ballachulish! (My mum and her side of my family came from near there.)

Our Liam got married there last year! He remembered it well from a holiday he came to with us when he was a kid and loved it so much, he went back to get married there! He did five Munros the day before he got married too!
