It is still open but with 4 screens. It’s owned by Everyman cinema so it is posh to fit in with the locals.Esher?
Great cinema. Seemed to remain as a single screen very late.
Suppose it's shut now or split?
Late 80s, early 90s me, lived in new malden .rip the big screen, how times change, i remember when the everyman hampstead had possibly the most uncomfortable seats in london. It is still open but with 4 screens. It’s owned by Everyman cinema so it is posh to fit in with the locals.

Roma. Baffled by its Oscar. Stunning b/w cinematography, but otherwise pretty much bereft of anything you'd think of as essential to a movie. A story, eg. No beginning, middle, end. You drop in on another life, hang around for a bit, The End. Beautiful, but that's about it.
