Men in very tight trousers is a bit off putting.
And I don't understand men wearing 3/4 length trousers , in much the same way I don't understand men wearing skirts - unless it's a kilt. There is probably some inherent sexism there, but hey ho.
Other than that why do people insist on squeezing themselves in to clothes that are clearly 2 sizes too small? Surely it can't be comfortable to have that much flesh trying to escape

You put your finger on a very interesting conundrum. As you identify, it is perfectly OK for men to wear kilts, indeed, it reinforces their manly credentials in popular estimation. So why not other skirts?

I have seen men in Aberdeen wearin a mini kilt
Also jacket, shirt and tie and a ladies skirt, each to their own but not a good look for me

I'm sure they could.. but if you change into Speedos then have the obligatory shower before entering the pool area, the risks are greatly reduced.. albeit not completely.

but in anycase I was only giving the correct reason why they are banned in French pools .. not looking for a debate about personal hygiene

Just out of interest, are jammers allowed in French pools? Something I swim in, and so do competitive swimmers.

When i was his age i probably looked better than him,though time and illness haven't been too kind,though i still get admiring glances when i'm on my bike. I'd like to add that i looked ok in a 200 quid Burton's suit. I wonder what Beckham would look like in one,or what he'll look like at 57, when all those shoot tatts start to droop along with his skin.
Tattooed hands and necks just aren't right!

A suit that probably cost 5 grand and some airbrushing as well. That tattoo on his wedding ring finger looks er...so classy(!)
