Hi
Does anyone have any information about Roger Page? Back in the late 60s I was an apprentice decorator for Birmingham council and Roger was a Carpenter ( I guess he was about 30/40s then). I got chatting to him and he was a keen cyclist and I believe he may have been a British champion. He...

As the title suggests. Merida cyclocross 500 in a nice blue colour. I've owned it for approx 18 months and probably only done 50miles on it. Only used for family rides.
This is in great condition and the buyer would not be disappointed. There a couple of small Mark's on the brake levers but...
Selling my Ritchey Swiss Cross (Just in time for cross season!) as I don't really race enough to justify such a fancy bike. I bought it last year with the aim of going on loads of gravel adventures after I spent too long reading theradavist.com, but never really had time.
It's in very good...
Anyone have any experience of Felt bike's can't find many reviews about them.

Giant Revolt 2 drop-bar bicycle. The size is small - probably suited to rider between 5'2" and 5'6" (this is a guess on my part, so please bear that in mind). I'm 5'5" and it fits me well with the saddle at the height shown in the photos.
£460
It all functions well, and it hasn't had any...

Couple of questions:
Do cyclocross wheels usually feature road or mountain bike hubs? I'm assuming there's no such thing as cyclocross specific hubs?
I'm looking for 6 bolt disc hubs, 28 spoke (front) and 32 spoke (rear), can anyone make any suggestions on particular models that won't break...
I'd like to start commuting by bike ( 7 miles each way). I would do this on my road bike but the cycle paths round me don't really deserve the name and the roads to work are mostly dual carriageways (and I rather like being alive!)
I thought a more solid CX bike with wider tyres etc would fit...
I'm thinking of mixing the commute up a bit.
I commute on a fixed ( Pearson Now You.....) and have gone on tracks with Schwalbe Marathons on occassions in the past. But wanted to take it a step further to jazz up my journey. However as the weather changes I don't think the Schwalbes will be up...
Having watched a few races on TV recently, this looks like a particularly interesting challenge.
Has anyone dabbled in Cyclocross or even Raced by any chance? Just wondering how tough it is compared to road cycling?
Certainly looks tougher to me anyway.
