I have a reasonably large circumferenced head. But it's long rather than wide.

So if I buy a the size helmet that fits front to back it will rock side to side, I can adjust the internal harness to reduce this a little, but all the harnesses seem to do is tighten the back, which in turn just puts pressure on the front and makes it uncomfortable.

It would be really good if I could find a helmet that adjusted well all around the circumference, or well suited to a lozenged, rather than round shaped head.

Any ideas?

Catlike seem narrow on the sides, maybe try those.

Best thing, just try on every helmet you can possibly find and the buy the best fitting, most comfortable one

I've tried many and so far all are the same.

My previous helmet was a Catlike but the plastic shell delaminated from the foam within a year so I'm not keen to use them again.

Did you get a warranty replacement?

Maybe the more expensive Kask, Specialized or Giro have more adjustability?
I have a round head, opposite issue, most dig in on sides, Uvex fit me best

I did get a warranty replacement and sold it.

I currently have a Kask and it's the best I could find but not great.

Maybe I'm just set to have an ill fitting helmet.

The BHSI is a pro helmet site from the US, but refreshingly has a lot of good information and advice

TheirBig Head page lists a range of helmets that will fit a bigger head

However as a US site, not all the helmets may be available in the UK

It is still a good start though
