My old Joe Blow Sport floor pump finally gave up the ghost after long and reliable service. I was going to get another Joe Blow but noticed that Tweeks are clearing out their Crank Bros Sterling floor pumps for £34.99 (now discontinued - used to sell for £60). Mine arrived this morning and I'm impressed. High volume/high pressure switch, suitable for both Presta and Schrader valves and has a large, easy to read gauge. It's a lot less effort to get road tyres above 100psi than my old Joe Blow, the high volume was more of a struggle though, 60 felt the max with that.

Thanks for that. I’m in an almost identical position - my Joe Blow must be 20+years old, but is definitely not as good as it was. It doesn’t owe me anything!

The link you provided shows the pump at £29.99 (free postage) so I’ve ordered one.

Just bought 4 cans of GT85 from Aldi for £2 a pop. They seem to be well stocked up at the moment. Looked at the neoprene cycling gloves for a tenner and just couldn't bring myself to part with the money. Has anyone used these type of gloves? Do they keep your hands warm in winter? They sure as hell don't LOOK warm but they may have magical properties! 😉

Start fitness have some ok deals, but if anything goes wrong they are a huge pain in the arse to deal with. It took me months to get a refund sorted and had to get my payment provider involved.

Probably a very limited target group, but for those that run 10 speed and like a close set of ratios, Condor have the SRAM PG1050 12-25 available for £30 - it's generally around the £50 mark elsewhere.

https://www.condorcycles.com/collections/gears-drivetrain/products/sram-pg-1050-cassette

Edited to add that PBK have the PC1051 chain for £12.50

https://www.probikekit.co.uk/bicycl...10-speed-chain-silver-114-links/10771694.html

Further edited as the chain now shows as out of stock - I know I should have ordered a couple on Friday rather than waiting for the usual "please come back" email from PBK with a 10 or 12% discount code
