I'm trying to replace my cycling glasses after a bit of an accident and I thought I'd got them from a link on this thread but I've been back as far as May and can't find anything. Anyone got any ideas?
The Planet X glasses look good value at £10 plus post;

In Facebook marketplace I found a link to get 5 issues of cycling plus for £5 .....cancel anytime ...

Bit of light reading through what's likely to be a long grim winter...
Any chance of a share

Edit (21 Oct) - sorry wrong light @Blue Hills : I bought one of these a week ago and they're on a 'flash deal' @ £25. Did me OK for about 11 hours of darkness in Friday/Saturday's long ride (5am to 3:30am). The connection is solid and the beam is good. Three power settings plus flashing (if required). Photo is off site, not mine.

Bonus is the excellent 10000mAh battery which is compatible with my normal front light.

Beam pattern good in what way?
How did you manage to get 11 hours out of it? They only seem to be claiming 8 hours for the low setting. Is that what you were riding on?

Not Cycle related but Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen) £18.99 delivered if you’re a prime member;

I hope my daughter will explain how to use one!

[off-topic] I won’t let any of these “smart” speakers in the house as they’re alway listening for key words in order to better know their users. A recent programme about Amazon confirmed this. [/off-topic]

IIRC there was some hoohaa about that because they were doing it when supposedly switched off. Naughty!

They do. A friend of a friend works for for MI5 and confirmed it. A very, very dodgy bit of kit. Same with Apple's HomePod and Google's Nest.

Largely irrelevant because if you're online, you're being tracked anyway, but I'd not have any of them in my flat.

I have a Google home that I generally use for playing music or radio 4 for the dog while I am out. The missus got it free from Spotify. It's be a lot more use if it had a battery and i could use it as a portable Bluetooth speaker / internet radio.

I'm not sure I believe the listening in talk. But mine gets turned of at the plug when not in use. I'll have to start having one sided conversations with the dog about refining plutonium and overthrowing world governments and see what happens.
