@Threevok well you've sold me :smile:

I checked the zip on one of my favourite Endura tops and though it doesn't snag I couldn't say it's the most free running of things - but in practice it has never been a problem.

I now have four gilets :smile: though the quality Castelli one currently lives away from home with another bike. The other two are cheapo somewhat plasticky but servicable for round town use and touring.

Thanks for the reply - always nice when folk return with feedback after being helped

@Threevok

Thanks for recommending my own recommendation back to me :smile: and giving me a kick for this:

Well pleased.

Quality item.

The colour means it will also be handy for slamming on as a high vis when touring on dark roads.

The high collar design is somewhat curious but overheating can be avoided by just rolling it down.
The zip is just fine and dandy - hell some cyclists these days are so fussy..

Ideal for me as I generally wear clear lense glasses and occasionally yellow. The lenses in my last pair were scratched to bits as I seem to drop them a lot or at least knock them onto the floor.

These fit nice are very light and at £17.99 I'm not going to cry if they get damaged - which they will.

As an aside - does the 'Found a bargain do tell' thread (think that's what is was called) still exist? I have obviously found this thread now and have asked the Mod's to delete my previous post.

'Tis the height of summer, no one is thinking about lights so let's buy some now!

I have the rear fibre flare and found it's a good 'to be seen' rear light.
£14 and it'll hit your mat. (RRP £35)

No idea what the effective storage time is on these.

Fair to assume that it is more or less indefinite if unopened?
Date on the bottom of a tube here is Jan 2019, so should be good for about 18 months - unless they're flogging off short-date stock.
