@AuroraSaab opened my wallet and got a nice blue one.

Let us know what it's like when it arrives. Hopefully it won't disappoint. I did have a quick scan through their Clearance section, thinking it might be worth getting other stuff as the postage was so high, but couldn't see any real bargains.

Halfords have some cheap t shirts and jerseys, from £4 upwards. The Boardman Jerseys for £10 look decent value:

Saw these on Hot Deals. Padded shorts also reduced apparently, so might be worth trawling through the clothes to find some bargains.

I picked up one of the £5 cycling jerseys today and it is very bright! but its also pretty nice, nice and long which is something I like. Just went to order another one and saw if you order 3 items you get 20% off so got two more and one of the cheap cycling tshirts for £11.20.

They also have the fab Cateye Ampp400 for £12.50

Glad you got some bargains. The lights look good value.

The jersey deals seem to be online only. I went to Halfords to buy some car bits on Friday and the Boardman jerseys were still marked at full price. Might have gone through the till at the reduced price I guess, but weren't reduced on the rails.

Halfords will match their online price instore if you ask them, otherwise you will pay the ticket price.

Finally managed to get one of these when they came back in stock. All as expected but not a fan of the plastic nut.

Box is Shimano (brown cardboard so possibly oem) got stickers in French on it so possibly sourced from France by D'cath.
well done - would be interested in a longer term report on how it fares compared to the revered UN55.

The UN26, which some of us UN55 fans sometimes used, had a plastic sleeve at one end of course - never really saw it as a deal breaker.

I have the idea that Decathlon might have some special access to Shimano bits and that some of their own stuff, particularly at the "lower" end is actually Shimano.
