My card's been scammed

JD Sports. I'm assuming the Blackburn one as i've been to Burnley hospital today, but i drew 20 quid out an ATM in Blackburn after i'd been to Burnley.

You can't use contactless for £490 though. Well perhaps as lots of £30 transactions

Don't need a PIN online if they had your card... just the card and code on the strip

Yes you're right! Ive just remembered,they told me it was an online theft attempt(My mind's all over the place today). Could they trace the online address where the attempt was made?

Almost certainly not other than the IP address, probably a public location if from a physical card

They can try. But buy a SIM card, minimum top-up, use that. Get caught out, dump the card & get a new one.

Not necessarily, click and collect, instore pick up, Amazon locker, Hermes pick up, Collect+ etc. Work address also possible

Go online to your bank, get the number from there and ring it. Then talk to them about the email. Don't ring any number contained in the email
