My card's been scammed

Except he doesn't have a card it seems
Someone else has though. No PIN required by them.

Card is now useless though. Except for tracking any further attempts to use it.

Don't need a PIN online if they had your card... just the card and code on the strip
Yes you're right! Ive just remembered,they told me it was an online theft attempt(My mind's all over the place today). Could they trace the online address where the attempt was made?

Almost certainly not other than the IP address, probably a public location if from a physical card

They can try. But buy a SIM card, minimum top-up, use that. Get caught out, dump the card & get a new one.

Go online to your bank, get the number from there and ring it. Then talk to them about the email. Don't ring any number contained in the email
