I thought I'd post on here rather than derail the other thread. After you bought up the concern about the rivets on the floating disc fouling the calipers, I thought I'd have a look at mine. The rivets themselves barely protrude from the surface of the disc itself and as you can see from the photos below, they are in line with the mounting bolts at their closest point, rather than the caliper body. Now I have IS caliper mounts with a IS to Post mount adapter. On a flat mount I suspect that all this space would be filled with frame, however, I doubt that the rivets would touch. You can see on mine the clearance is tight, but crucially there is clearance.
I don't if that is helpful or not, but hopefully it gives you a better idea.
