And what ended up as slow, grinding, attrition based snooker in the other (As some people’s games seemed to have deserted them to a degree….?)

I'd take Brecel to lead overnight as Selby will be feeling the effects of a long, grinding match with only a short break. No idea of the eventual result but it will be better for the game if the Belgian wins as it will generate a lot of interest in mainland Europe.

If Selby sneaks in a couple of hours sleep the next session could be a good one. Brecel just brilliant though, never seen a player so good at really fine cut-ins

Tough semi, and a great competitor, so early days yet. I kinda am cheering for the new boy though, he's definitely an entertainer.
