Great tracks, from a great album. I can remember buying The Crossing back in 83, played it to death.

A local radio phone in presenter described it as being similar to when cats fight at night,making those freaky shrieking noises.Mind you,he says The Beatles are one of his favourite bands...so there you have it!:rolleyes:

Some great stuff here. Delighted to hear Nils get a mention - I still have many of his pre-E-Street band records - wasn't it Grin? He was great. No Mercy is a classic. I think he suffered when Tom Petty was his support act back in the late 70s and blew him away (although I know who I'd prefer).

It was Grin though the first time I became aware of him was via Neil Young. A friend turned up with After the Gold Rush, which had been around awhile, and the album "Nils Lofgren." Basically she said you have to listen to this. and I've been grateful all my life!!
