I know the roads around here are crap, but that would be overkill (there are no gnarly trails to speak of!)
You need to move house then !

Not for me, if it's a bicycle it has to be a pedal only one and when it comes to PTWs it must have an engine. I've always regarded bikes and motorcycles as being pretty much the same, ok so the means of propulsion and speeds are way different but the sensation of being on two wheels is what does it for me.Joe! You've just shattered the image of you I had in my mind!
How about a pedelec? I was never particularly in favour of them, but not especially against them either, but Mrs D bought me one and I'm really enjoying it. And the pedelec too.
That's sounds like a very conservative amount for a training program?I cycle as often as it says on my training programme. Some weeks I cycle 2 days a week, some others I cycle 3 days a week. No more than that.
Probably depends what he’s training for? Triathlon? That's sounds like a very conservative amount for a training program?
He's not the only one, we tend to accumulate injuries through life, my list though not as comprehensive as @Drago 's is pretty impressive too., although my 2 younger sisters have never broken anything (probably due to sitting on their fat behinds all day)
If so why offer the comment in a question on riding? I stand by my observation.Probably depends what he’s training for? Triathlon?
How so as the question was whether one rides every day?If so why offer the comment in a question on riding? I stand by my observation.
I do about the same on a plan that I’ve followed and got good results with. That's sounds like a very conservative amount for a training program?
