I recently had to walk in them whilst trying to navigate a swamp off road - this has worn the bottoms out quite a bit but they are still going strong, the Velcro ones are far superior and easy to fit then the zip ones which just fall apart in my experience.
Easier to fit, but the Velcro doesn't last a season. Worth grabbing some replacement velcro strips to prolong their lives.

On other similar ones, if you care not for the style police I find the ever faithful duct tape fine for rebuilding the bottoms. After all, who is going to be staring at your feet in the rain?

Its the elastic on the bottom that's 'fubared' unfortunately and as for the Velcro that's still fine... Anyhow 2 new pairs on their way!

The Cycliq front and rear cameras/lights are 1/2 price or less at Chain Reaction:

Rear, £60: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cycliq-fly-6-rear-camera-light/rp-prod154763

Front, £135: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cycliq-fly12-front-camera-light/rp-prod154764

10% BC discount and 2% through Quidco brings the pair down to £172.63

Be aware that these have just been superseded by a newer version (called the CE). The differences appear to be fairly minor to me, but read the reviews and make your own mind up before ordering!

Anyway, I've just taken the plunge, so expect loads of footage of close passes and horrible driving in the near future^_^ (or I may just use them as 'insurance' in the unlikely event that anything really nasty happens).

As is often the case there are a few bargains to be had at Planet X the highlights for me are Velcro overshoes for a fiver ( got some Planet X branded ones they are excellent):-
https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CLCAOSH/carnac-neoprene-overshoes
Ultegra 6800 brakes for £25 each:-

The Planet X parcel turned up today so very quick delivery times. Overshoes are a rather insipid blue but quality looks as good as my old black ones and probably more visible. I Bought a pair of clubman bib shorts and branding is minimal and quality looks first class especially for the money (£15).
All in all although I spent a small fortune on various bits I'm very pleased/poorer delete as necessary.

Lidl workstand looks decent for £24.99, been after a similar product for a while, cheapest I could find is about £40 in Halfords, so this looks good to me.

Have you or anyone else received them?
Ordered 2 on saturday for delivery. . Not received yet but yesterday got a mail asking for feedback "as it's several days since you collected them".

edit: their powerbank prices seem to be generally appalling.

even with the current sale55 code applied.
