Got one of these on the back of your post. Love it, thanks! Great for commuting.
Shimano 5700 type jockey wheels £3.95
About 9quid elsewhere. It is a price match so they will be the same price somewhere else if your anal about allfrauds
I've been wearing these this winter and I recommend them for general use as long as its not raining. I think they are good for £10.00 and will be o.k unless its around freezing or below, then I think you would need something thicker.
Raleigh Elements 26" x 45mm black mudguards from Parkers of Bolton on eBay. £14.95. Very decent quality, too narrow for knobblys but OK if, like me, you want to run a utility MTB on general purpose 1.75" tyres for better road manners. Ordered over weekend,, they were ready to pick up from Argos this morning! Really impressed, I'm keeping a second set of these as spares as it would be silly not to at that price.
Perfetto L/s on sale at merlin.
for anyone local to saint helens looking for a disc specific pannier rack he had four, now has three tortec expedition disc specific racks , very light they are too..
20% off at Polaris (even in the outlet) using the code 20OFF
My finger's hovering over the checkout button and I'm finding it hard to resist ....
If you are hovering wonderloaf and there is that extra 20 per cent off, I can recommend these:
My favourite serious touring shoe.
Got mine for the serious bargain price of something like £35. I use them without cleats
I wonder if he bought them from Evans cycles clearance site? They have lots of tortec racks for £4 bargain if you ask me
Apparently , he used to go round schools doing maintainance courses , he has a load of stuff in one of those self storage places, no racks for £4 on evans just rack bracket for £4, using the search function they don't have the tortec expedition disc specific rack in stock.
I got a Topeak Super Tourist disc compatible rack for the princely sum of £5.25 from Evans last week. They do have some decent bargains on racks at the moment (not all seem to come with mounting arms so check pics carefully if buying; mine came with them though): https://www.evanscycles.com/offers/...ers-and-car-racks-category?sort=price_inc_vat.
some bargains there, didn't show when I tried the search box
Hmm, I was looking on their website only the other day, and I am sure they have upped their prices by about 20%. Similar to what Planet X do.
Am I right in thinking that these two will work together:
The mounts say not for the ‘Tour’ but this is the Tour Ultralite and they are both 10mm rather than the 8mm of the tour?
A full rack for under a tenner.
TBH, I'd just go for this one instead, as the picture shows it comes with mounting arms (I've bought a fair bit of stuff from the Evans ex-demo pages, and generally the pictures are accurate). https://www.evanscycles.com/tortec-tour-ultralite-rear-rack-ex-demo-EV332456
